Educated as a multi-disciplinary designer, Anthony Poon is an award-winning architect and musician. With over 25 years of architectural experience, he is a LEED-accredited architect licensed in California and Virginia, and IIDA interior designer—as well as a concert pianist, composer, artist, and author. Mr. Poon received his Master of Architecture from Harvard University and his Bachelor of Arts from University of California, Berkeley, Magna Cum Laude. In addition to having taught at the University of Southern California, he has made presentations at national and regional conferences for the American College and University Institute, and the Society for College and University Planning.

Mr. Poon was awarded in an unprecedented two years in a row, the 2005 and 2006 National Grand Prize from Learning by Design, the highest honor given to an educational project in the country. In 2008, he was a finalist for Los Angeles Magazine’s “World Class Tastemakers.” He was also a performing artist for the 2012 Architects in Concert, “Unfrozen Music,” and a selected mixed-media artist for the 2013 Beverly Hills Art Show, www.anthonypoonart.com. Mr. Poon’s book, Sticks and Stones / Steel and Glass: One Architect’s Journey is to be published in Spring 2017.
